Thursday, September 24th, 2009DIY Inital Frame
Saturday, September 19th, 2009
This is a quick and easy decorating update for your home. I made two of these for our bathroom, but you could put it anywhere; your living room, kids room, kitchen, office, etc. I used our initials, but you could alter it by using any letter or even a word.
1. Frame ( I purchased mine at hobby lobby, 50% off for $2.)
2. Paper to fit the background of the frame (my frame is 8.5 X 11 inches and I cut a 12X12 scrapbook paper to fit the frame)
3. Paper for letter that coordinates with the background
1. Cut the background to fit the frame, if needed
2. Print out or draw your letter on scrap or white paper, then cut
3. Trace the back of the color letter paper using the white paper
4. Cut out the letter on the color paper
5. Place the letter on the background (might want to affix with glue or tape) and place in frame.
6. Hang and enjoy!
DIY Candy Gift
Saturday, September 19th, 2009
This is a fun gift to give. It does take a while to measure and cut the paper, but it’s worth it. Cover with scrapbook paper of your choice, then fill the empty bottles with various candy. As you can see, my guy enjoyed it… the bottles were full of candy.
P.S. If you know someone who likes Dr. Pepper, Dublin Dr. Pepper (pictured above) is made with pure cane sugar instead of the usual corn syrup found in the regular version. It is Mr. Nikki Made’s drink of choice. Makes a great gift for a Dr. Pepper fan. Order online here.
